Nuttall Equestrian is based at Vale Farm, Queen Camel, home of the Nuttall family.

Vale Farm is a five hundred acre arable and livestock farm set in the heart of the Sparkford Vale, one and half miles from the A303 which enables easy access to all parts of the country.  The farm is an award-winning farm for conservation and we are very proud of the woodland, ponds and wide headlands around the fields.  Hence our horses have a wonderful setting to exercise, work and relax.

Nuttall Equestrian is based at Vale Farm.  Rupert Nuttall owns and runs the business along with Harriet and help from his two other daughters Emma and Lucy and a loyal team of Maddie Cooper and Billie Ann Warren.  Rupert has just retired from 21 years of being a Master of the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt.  Hunting will still be part of ours and our horses lives.

Emma and Lucy both have full time jobs but help out whenever they can and are both very much part of the Nuttall Equestrian team.   They hunt but neither of them compete any longer.

Harriet lives at home, helps produce the young horses and competes at International and National showjumping.  Harriet had a fantastic 2014 achieving some of her goals.  Harriet and A Touch Imperious were part of the winning Nations Cup Team in Odense, they were third  in the Hickstead Derby and she and her horses had a great deal of success abroad reaching a world ranking of 202.  2015 went well too with Galway Bay Jed and Dulf progressing well in the young horse classes and A Touch Imperious coming second in the Hickstead Derby.  In 2016 Harriet again had great results at Hickstead, 2nd once again in the Derby with A Touch Imperious and winning the speed Derby on Silver Lift.

Harriet has attracted some very supportive sponsors - Selwood Equine, Tattini Equestrian, Equine Products UK Ltd, Equiclass and Cowsfeet along with help from Devoucoux, Fosseway Fodder and  Williams and Williams Arenas.

Over the years, Rupert has bought young horses in Ireland and we produce them further ready to sell as Eventers/showjumpers/hunters.  Most of the horses Harriet competes have come from Ireland as young horses.  Dulf is one of the exceptions, he is a Dutch warmblood and owned by Hugo and Pippa James who are very supportive.  We have five very special five year olds who are about to start going to shows and a four year which we bought in the latter part of last year who is an exciting prospects for the future.
